Pharmacist

Job Overview
We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring patient safety, providing expert advice on drug usage, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
* Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
* Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and legality
* Provide patients with information on drug usage, dosage, side effects, and interactions
* Monitor patient health and progress to ensure safe medication usage
* Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure proper storage of medications
* Collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals for patient care
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
* Maintain records of prescriptions and controlled substances
* Handle insurance claims and billing procedures
* Educate patients on health management and preventive care

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm / Pharm.D)
* Valid pharmacist license/registration
* Proven experience as a pharmacist (preferred but not mandatory for freshers)
* Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and treatments
* Understanding of medical terminology and prescriptions
