Academic Tutor

Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Tutor to help students improve their academic performance and build confidence in their studies. The Tutor will be responsible for delivering personalized instruction, assessing student needs, and creating effective learning plans.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions (online/offline)
* Develop customized lesson plans based on student requirements
* Explain concepts clearly and patiently
* Assist students with homework, assignments, and exam preparation
* Track and evaluate student progress regularly
* Identify learning gaps and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Maintain communication with parents/guardians (if required)

Required Skills
* Strong subject knowledge (e.g., Mathematics, Science, English, etc.)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience and adaptability in teaching styles
* Ability to simplify complex topics
* Time management and organizational skills
* Basic computer skills for online tutoring platforms

Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject (required)
* Master’s degree (preferred but optional)
* Prior teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage
* Certification in teaching/training (optional)

Experience
* Freshers with strong subject knowledge can apply
* 1–3 years of tutoring/teaching experience preferred

* Flexible hours (evenings/weekends preferred for students)
